just an update

I've been working extremely hard in my attempts to spread the word about this blog, so hopefully in a few days there will be enough sent-in pictures for me to make the first official post! Please, if you believe in this idea, and in poetry itself, spread the word to the blogging world!

Tell them to send their pictures! :)

  1. Yay!

I'd try sidewalk if I had chalk. I don't think library books are a good idea though.

  2. I was just thinking the same thing. I'm up for writing a poem with chalk on the pavement but as for library books and pay phones, i don't agree.

I'll look for somewhere suitable first and then you'll hear from me! :)

  3. Hm, you don't agree with the library books/payphones? Really? I guess one could get in some sort of trouble, but then again this isn't really graffiti, it's art! Do it wherever you think it fits in though. :)

    Thanks all, for the comments!

  4. chalks not a great idea i dont think.
after it rains ur poem will be dead and gone.
whereas finding a poem in a library book or at a bus stop would be a nice surprise.
i think de poems should be written somewhere permanent and in view, just be careful not to get caught...

  5. yes, they're meant to be in view, but not large or overbearing. in a small corner where a passerby might hopefully see it.

we want to bring hope and happiness, not get people arrested. :)
